Jim met the love of his life when he was a Sophmore in HS.  Jim played in his band at the school dances and Shirley was a dancer in the 'HS Band Follies'.  He said it was love at first sight.  They dated through HS and got married on August 8, 1953, they were married for 61 years.  Their marriage was a true Ozzie and Harriet story.
